Le Petit Nicolas has invited his friends home to play cowboy.
All the children had costumes: Rufus was a police officer because his dad is a real police officer. So he had all the accessories: the cap, handcuffs, revolver, the white stick and whistle. Odo had a belt and two holsters with guns, he took over from his elder brother a boy scout hat. The other boy, Alcestis, he had the Indian costume with a wooden ax and feathers on the head. There was also a boy who has a very rich dad: Geoffroy. So he was dressed completely as a cowboy, he even spurs! And Le Petit Nicolas had a black mask, a gun arrows and a red handkerchief.
Well, they started a fight is because Nicolas said he was young man with a white horse, and the others were bandits, prisoners! Nobody agreed. Each child wanted to be a character but none agreed with the character of the other and everyone wanted the white horse.
After a lot of punch and lots of cries of Nicolas's father left the house to resolve the situation. And for the happiness of Nicolas and his friends, dad said he would be the prisoner. The boys were very happy! So, children tied to the tree's dad. Suddenly, the neighbor, Mr. Blédurt, jumped over the garden hedge and started to play too!
Suddenly Nicolas's mother has called for tea. And after they ate they went into the room to play Nicolas Petit electric train. And they forgot the candy attached to the tree. But the night he was shouting and making faces and playing again, all alone! Le Petit Nicolas thought it's nice to know fun all alone like that!
Finally, everything ended well and everyone had a fun day!
